JEMAA EL FNA
The main square is the hub of Marrakech life and it leads north onto many alleys that will take you through the Souk. This warren can sometimes be very overwhelming for first time visitors, but getting lost and wandering off the main drags and admiring the treasure’s and trinkets soon becomes and absolute pleasure. Word of advice “Bargin Hard”, you should pay a quater of the price that they first quote you.
The food stalls in the the square are an authentic experience,. Highly animated eateries were you can expect anything from steaming tajine or sheeps head in spicy soup. For the less adventurous, stick to the kebab with salad and chips. Great atmosphere.

CHILDREN IN MARRAKECH
Moroccans dote on children and it is not unusual for someone to walk up to you and ask if they could kiss your child or give them sweets. Children love Marrakech although they maybe overwhelmed at first. Its a bit like moving through an exotic fairytale of snake charmers, acrobats and donkey carts when you first go to the square. There really is a lot for children to do and here are some of the things that we take our children to:
Children's Indoor Play Area
AlMazar Mall has great up to date boutiques, coffee shops, ice cream parlours and a host of places to eat. On the top floor is a great indoor play area for kids with trampolines and little cars, games and soft play. The Carrefour Hypermarket is the basement and its all brand new.
Oasiria Water Park + 212 (0) 524 380438
Best day out for all the family, kids of all ages simply love this place, make sure that you go on all the rides and eat by the swimming pool area where the kids can run around. Book your private cabana around the heated pool.

At the Beldi Country club the kids can learn how to mould and shape a wide choice of objects which is then placed in a kiln, set and painted. Whilst you relax by the pool and the kids are having a great time. They can also play tennis here on a sunken court surrounded by mudbrick walls.
TENNIS + 212 (0)524 329494
Spa Palais Rhoul is one of the most fantastic places to visit in Marrakech. Whilst you are being pampered in the spa your little ones can play tennis on the clay courts.
